Eighteen-year-old model Eliza Rutson (complete name Eliza Scarlett Rutson Pang), who was born and raised in Hong Kong, was the hottest new face at the autumn/winter 2020 shows during Paris Fashion Week, which simply finished.
The half-British, half-Chinese teenager walked at some of the top shows, including Off-White, Paco Rabanne, Altuzarra and Valentino, the last of which saw her steal the show in a sheer gown in “Valentino red”.
Rutson, who is presently situated in Los Angeles, accompanies some amazing fashion pedigree. Her mom is style expert Sarah Rutson, the previous fashion director of Hong Kong-based department store Lane Crawford, and the previous VP of global purchasing at online retailer Net-a-Porter.
Her dad is Andrew Pang, a book writer and a specialist in the Japanese art of origami.
Rutson’s mixed heritage and striking highlights made her stand apart at all the shows she walked. Represented by modeling agency Elite, she has recently been photographed for lookbook and campaign shoots, however, this is her presentation on the runway at style week.
